I am writing to express my interest in your Accounts Assistant position that I saw advertised yesterday on the Dayjob.com website. I am someone who is looking to step forward in their career, stretch themselves and make a mark in an exciting and forward thinking business like yours.
Since May 2012 I have been employed as an Accounts Assistant by the Northern Group. At work I provide vital support in all accounting and financial matters relating to the businesses operations and play a fundamental part in supporting senior managers in managing a portfolio of clients. During my time with the company I have been involved in preparing accounts, completing tax returns, analysing financial data and matching supplier invoices to Purchase Orders.
I enjoy the buzz of being busy and am comfortable and confident in my ability to handle constant change and frequent ambiguity. In addition to this I am an expert at managing office processes and ensuring that administrative records are kept up to date and reconciled.
Right now I am looking to gain more experience in finance, and hope to do this by working for a company like yours that places its staff at the heart of their business.
