I came across your advertisement on Dayjob.com for a Chef, and would like to apply for the position. I feel fully confident in my ability to give customers something special to eat and satisfy their urges for a delicious meal.
I have worked for the last five years as a Chef as Brown’s Restaurant, where I have learnt how to cook delicious meals using the finest ingredients. Apart from organising routine kitchen activities, my main duties with them include; planning menus, supervising the work of junior kitchen staff and making sure expenditure is kept within budget. During my time there I have become familiar with working in a busy, fast paced kitchen environment.
I specialise in making fresh sauces, preparing food to brand specification and ensuring that the final presentation is to the highest standards. Furthermore, I have an excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
I consider myself to be a motivated and confident individual whose career has gone from strength to strength. Right now I am keen to work for a large operation like yours where there are future opportunities to progress within the company and develop a long term career.
