CV's, Resumes and Cover Letters
As a career management tool Day Job allows users to create a CV, Resume or Cover Letter and store this on our database. There are several ways of doing this. You may store your CV, Resume or Cover Letter in our database, but not allow it to be searchable. Not allowing these to be searchable means that you can use them to apply for a job online, but employers and recruiters will not have access to search it through our CV, Resume or Cover Letter database product. Or you can store it in our database and allow it to be searchable. If you allow your resume to be searchable, then all employers and recruiters who pay for access to our CV, Resume or Cover Letter database product will have access to your CV, Resume or Cover Letter. However, we are not responsible if some other third party, such as someone posing as the aforementioned and paying for the service, evades security measures and gains access to the database and subsequently your CV, Resume or Cover Letter. You may remove your CV, Resume or Cover Letter from our searchable database at any time. However recruiters who have paid for access to the database may have retained a copy of them in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of your CV, Resume or Cover Letter in these instances. The information you provide us may be accessed by or given to our staff working within and outside the UK and also some third party companies whom may periodically provide part of dayjob.com's services. If in the future a scenario arises whereby Dayjob Ltd becomes merged with, sold to or enters a joint venture with another business entity, then the information you have provided dayjob.com may be disclosed to Dayjob Ltd's new business partners or owners.
