The government is in charge of all of the public sector spending and consequently public sector jobs. The public sector is a very large organization, and employs millions of people in the United Kingdom. There are many various types of positions available in these sectors from being a basic cleaner, to administration to management.
The salary of public sector jobs is comparable to that of the private sector and is also linked to inflation, this ensures that wages rise every year. Needless to say that the more qualifications you have the higher the salary you are likely to receive.
