A training and development manager is dependable for initializing a comprehensive training package that includes both these elements in order to uphold a motivated and capable workforce and to perform the needs of the organisation.

A training officer is required to work in a medium sized firm or organisation, national and local government, emergency services and voluntary organisations. They are responsible for identifying training requirements, designing training programmes, delivering training to individuals or groups and evaluating the success of training.

Training
After gaining experience in other posts or following general personnel experience, this is an area of work where people move towards. A professional qualification is worthwhile to have, as it will support you when looking for a career in this subject.

Personal qualities required
In order to become a training officer you are required to have good communicational skills, be well presented, organised and negotiable. You are also required to be able to set realistic targets, plan ahead and meet deadlines.

Salary
Applicants who are applying earn from £13,00-£17,000 where as managers earn between £26,000 and £40,000.
