Responsible for working closely with the Buyer in a busy commercial team liaising with external brands and internal teams.


  • Monitoring new line introduction, supporting the merchandising and product content teams to ensure on-counter dates are achieved.
  • Reporting back to brands regarding the success or outcome of bespoke marketing activities.
  • Holding and running supplier meetings.
  • Supporting the Buyer with the co-ordination and development of a product.
  • Actively participating in coordinating and presenting a product range for sign-off.

  • Developing strong working relationships with external roles such as merchandising, technical teams, design teams as well as building positive networks.
  • Placing orders with suitable suppliers for specified materials ensuring goods are delivered on the required date.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of ordered materials are in line with the required standards.
  • Preparing reports on a regular basis to support with financial decision making.
  • Shaping and implementing the strategic direction and financial plans for a recommended range.
  • Monitoring and driving sales through targeted promotional activity.
  • Managing cross functional internal and external stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring Buyers have everything they need before meeting suppliers.
  • Managing promotional programmes and negotiating deals on behalf of the Buyer.
