Based on your description of the ideal candidate, I believe I am that someone you are looking for who can assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools. I can control the flow of stock through a factory, despatching orders and prioritising as and when required.
In my current role I initially read work orders, then pick parts using scanning equipment to select the correct parts, and then fit them into place using hand assembly tools and measuring equipment. As I come from an automotive background you can rely on me to strictly follow standard protocol regarding health and safety policies and procedures.
Being a solid team player means that I have no problem liaising, influencing, and building relationships at senior management, peer and team level. I get along with everyone and anyone. I can read instructions carefully, follow correct procedures, work to high standards of hygiene and deal with changing priorities on a daily basis.
On a personal level I am not afraid of hard work and am willing to do shifts including days or evenings as required.
