Assertiveness training

Being assertive means clearly and effectively communicating your opinions and feelings whilst at the same time still valuing the views of others. It’s a skill that can be learnt by studying the practical techniques on how to get your point of view across.

What is meant by being assertive?
Assertiveness is important because it helps individuals to act in their own best interests. It can directly impact on the way a person interacts and communicates with others by being better able to express themselves in an open, non-confrontational way.
