Dear Ms Graham,

Whilst browsing the job adverts on the Dayjob.com website, I came across your vacancy for a Bartender. I am looking for just such a role and am keen to put my name forward for your position.

My passion for the hospitality sector is equally matched by my experience in it, and right now I feel ready to take on your exciting and important role.

Presently, I’m working in role similar to the one you are advertising, it involves me serving patrons in a fast paced, high pressure hotel environment. As part of my duties I am required to develop interesting cocktail recipe’s, prepare hot beverages, serve food, strike up casual conversations with customers and accept payment from them. I have gained a reputation amongst my work colleagues as being someone who is always ready to chip in and help out others.

I am a well presented and fashion conscious individual who can easily build rapport and long term relationships with guests. I have a track record of consistently making cocktails from scratch and to the highest standard. Furthermore, it will interest you to know that I have experience of working in hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as at events, functions and exhibitions.

Should you require any further information from me then please do not hesitate to contact me.

I would once again like to stress how keen I am to work for your highly regarded establishment, and would like to close by thanking you for taking the time to review my application.

Yours sincerely,
