I am dedicated dance instructor who will graduate students with the strength of character and academic abilities needed to succeed in school and beyond. I will do this by using proven school-wide teaching practices and individualized learning methods to engage students in the classroom. In my opinion achieving goals is an essential part of being successful. I understand and accept my responsibility in providing students with in class and extracurricular dance activities that will teach them everything that they need to know.
I am committed to getting a job done well, no matter what the obstacles or how long it takes.
In short I can bring to the table my ability to deliver teaching at all levels in relation to ballet, modern, tap, African, salsa, jazz, body image and hip-hop.
At my current school I work collaboratively and flexibly with a diverse team of teachers to put a dance program together for my students. Aside from my general teaching duties I also communicate results to students, families and colleagues, maintain accurate records of students’ progress and instruct students on their behaviour.
