Yesterday I saw an advertisement on the Dayjob.com website for a Dental Technician, and I am writing to express my keen interest in the said position.
I consider myself to be the best of the best and get great personal fulfilment from providing good dental care to my patients.
I possess a variety of competencies that set me apart from other candidates. Chief amongst these is my ability to professionally discuss all treatments with my colleagues and patients so that my efforts achieve the desired results. To ensure that I meet deadlines, I always plan ahead and coordinate my work in an efficient manner. I also want to mention that I have no problem working independently and can handle frequent interruptions without being distracted.
At my present place of work my primary function is to review incoming prescriptions and materials from doctors, check them for accuracy and then action them. I am also tasked with maintaining specialist dental equipment and instruments.
It is a busy and demanding job that I do, and one that requires me to maintain effective day to day professional relationships with dental technicians and managers. On a personal level I have a relaxed temperament and am able to deal with stressful situations without losing control.
