With reference to an advertisement on the Dayjob.com website, I am applying for the post of Diversity Manager with your organisation.
For me nothing beats the buzz of seeing people from different backgrounds work together as friends and colleagues.
I am very good at good at assessing an organisation’s performance and recommending improvements to its existing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion programme. In my current role I have been commended for ensuring staff are fully motivated in their work and exhibit the behaviours which enhance their own work experience. I initiate, build and lead internal networks to maintain relationships over time and establish new communication channels, all with the ultimate aim of pushing the company’s diversity agenda. My present employer is very satisfied with my work rate, and I am confident that I can bring the same level of high performance to your company.
On a personal level I see change as an opportunity and am receptive to new ideas. In addition to this I have a reputation for working co-operatively with others in order to achieve objectives. I have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. Furthermore, I can operate in a fast paced culture of change, balancing priorities and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
