Yesterday I saw your advert for an Electrician on the Dayjob.com website, and would like to apply for the said position. I always maintain a high level of workmanship in everything that I do, and feel I would make an excellent candidate for your vacancy.
I have extensive experience of installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances. In addition to this I am an expert at carrying out planned and preventative maintenance work on a wide variety of manufacturing plant and machinery. I can accurately interpret technical data, drawings and instructions, and furthermore am very good at using fault finding diagnostic equipment.
Beyond that which is already mentioned in my attached resume, I am someone who has extensive knowledge of common electrical problems and a track record of meeting deadlines. I would like to point out that I have the ability to work in an environment where personnel and plant safety is paramount.
