Dear Ms Graham,
From reading your advert on the Dayjob.com website, I believe your company is in need of a Kitchen Hand.
As a hard-working, mature and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand I will be able to ensure that your operations food and associated products are prepared, cooked, served and presented at the highest standards.
I will compliment any existing kitchen team by giving them the assistance they need when they need it.
At my current place of work I am mainly responsible for cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment used during a shift. Aside from this I am also responsible for assisting the chefs to plate meals and prepare food trolleys. Being eager to get involved in everything that is going on around me means that I am prepared to carry out both light as well as heavy cleaning duties.
I must also mention that during my career I have gained experience of assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
Beside my technical skills I am someone of a sunny disposition with a ‘can do’ approach to any task I am given. I consider myself a professional and well presented individual who is able to communicate clearly with people at all levels.
At this moment in time I want to join a company like yours that has a friendly atmosphere and a good work ethic.
After reviewing my attached resume, please feel free to contact me to arrange an interview or if you require any further information from me. Thank you very much for your time, consideration and hopefully forthcoming positive response.
