As a Kitchen savvy and well-qualified all-rounder, I was delighted to see your recent vacancy on the Dayjob.com website.
I have many year’s relevant experience of working safely around kitchen equipment, and am someone who is able to competently use the latest cooking equipment. I am comfortable with doing lots of washing up for long periods of time. My other core competencies are providing chef cover, menu planning, stock control and enforcing kitchen hygiene. All of these are fields that your job advert stipulates a candidate should knowledge of.
Although the attached resume will demonstrate my multiple strengths, what it may not show is my ability to;
- Focus on standards and quality of service at all times.
- Prepare buffets and basic hot meals to a strict time limit.
- Pay attention to detail and food presentation.
I am a natural at making the best use of my time by completely avoiding time wasting processes. I long ago realised that by using my time wisely and not wasting a minute I can get things done quicker and also provide a better service to my employer.
What I feel really makes me unique is my deep understanding of all aspects of food hygiene, and health and safety regulations. This coupled with my comprehensive knowledge of food products makes me an ideal candidate for your position.
