Mediation is an informal, structured process dedicated to voluntarily bringing together two disputing parties so that they may resolve their differences and come to an agreement.

The aim of these courses is to set you on the path to becoming an accredited and certified mediator by giving you a benchmark level qualification. You will be guided through a carefully planned programme of learning designed to give you an insight into what mediation is and how it works. Prior knowledge of law or legal processes is helpful but not essential for this course.

What is Mediation
A mediator acts as a neutral third party who is appointed by two or more disputing parties to start negotiations and to help create a way forward. Mediation is a voluntary process, and for it to work everyone concerned must actively and willingly participate in it. Mediators try to explore and understand the issues involved in a case and work hard to find a solution before matters go to court. Mediation can be effective, this is borne out by the fact that the majority of cases referred to commercial mediation services are settled on the day or shortly thereafter. All of this avoids the unnecessary cost, stress and delay of progressing to trial. Mediation training courses overview
The courses main aim is to show you how to bring people together and work towards a resolution without the need to enter into litigation. It provides mediator training of the highest quality and repute, and shows delegates how to use creativity, vision and desire to be part of a solution.
