NETWORK ANALYST          June 2008 - Present

Responsible for the day to day support of the network communications & infrastructure architecture across all company locations. Also working with 3rd party vendors to ensure quality delivery and support of the network infrastructure.


  • Working closely with a team of programmers, designers & IT managers.
  • Identifying problems and then suggesting technical computer-based solutions.
  • Assisting on DR planning.
  • Working on documentation and capacity management.
  • Ensuring robust network backup and recovery capability.
  • Hands on experience of server operating systems, security and remote access.
  • Working with IP routing protocols. OSPF, BGP and PIM.
  • Knowledge and experience with Firewalls, including Nokia IPSO in resilient environment and Checkpoint.


  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team, and work shifts, evenings and weekends.
  • Able to present & negotiate at all levels in a non-technical manner.
  • Knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking.
  • Understanding of Change, incident and problem management.
  • Experience of network protocols and ITIL Foundation.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP.
  • Good knowledge of IP routing protocols. OSPF, BGP and PIM essential.
  • Experience of programming, including visual basic or scripting languages.
  • Constantly focused on improving customer service through improved infrastructure management.
