This is the police force responsible for law enforcement in the city of Manchester. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
In the United Kingdom this is the biggest fire service outside of London, and employ over 2500 fire fighting and also administrative staff. Their service covers a catchment area of over 2 and a half million people. Each year they attend tens of thousands of incident, helping to save life’s and property and to make the country safer for everyone. Their work involves them not just in fire fighting but also in safety awareness and prevention, for instance like carrying out Home Fire Risk Assessments. This is a organization dedicated to helping to support and organize the voluntary sector within the North West.
