Dear Ms Graham,
I submit this letter in order to apply for your Receptionist vacancy which I saw advertised yesterday on the Dayjob.com website. After reading the job description I understand that you are looking for an experienced, flexible and professional Receptionist, if so then I am your man.
I can make visitors feel special and welcome on every visit by greeting them promptly, efficiently and professionally.
For the last three years I have been working as a Receptionist for Central College. At work I dictate and promote a positive atmosphere for the entire office by using my excellent communication skills, customer care knowledge and extensive administrative experience. My daily duties include managing the switchboard, maintain an orderly reception area and answer incoming phone calls.
On a personal level I pursue all my activities with focus and drive, and am someone who can be counted on to complete goals. I am always immaculately presented and have an excellent understanding of time keeping and working to deadlines. In addition to this I have the ability to cope under pressure and can easily manage large call volumes at peak times.
I am keen to work for your company as it has a reputation for being an institution where people genuinely enjoy going to work. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you at an interview and eagerly await your response to my application.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review my application.
