Dear Ms Graham,

I would like you to consider my application for your Sports Advisor vacancy which I saw advertised on the dayjob.com website today.

I am committed to getting more people, more active, more often.

I have the ability to identify an individual’s desires and attitudes towards sport and to then guide them to alter their behaviour to try various sports activities. As you can see from my attached CV I am very good at targeting beginners and individuals who have become disengaged or disenchanted with sport for whatever reason. It will also demonstrate my ability to accurately analysing an individual’s physical and sporting performance.

Since 2015 I have been employed by …………., where I am responsible for planning and organising sports projects and campaigns in order to get more people involved in them. I work towards making sport more accessible to everyone and aim to get people living a healthier lifestyle. Through my role I have gained experience of working with various organisations and agencies including youth services, schools, clubs, fitness coaches and sports councils.

On a personal level, I consider myself a responsible and autonomous individual who loves to go the extra mile to find a solution for a problem. Furthermore, I possess superb communication skills that allow me to share my expertise with others and comfortably interact with people I have just met.

Thank you for considering my application, I would welcome a phone call so that we might be able to set up an interview time. I am available most afternoons, and look forward very much to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
