Dear Ms Graham,

I was very excited to see your vacancy for a Teaching Assistant, which was advertised yesterday on the dayjob.com website.

I am an experienced Teaching Assistant who is fully committed to each child for the full academic year. A pupils education and well-being is at the heart of everything that I do, and I will do everything within my power to give them an exceptional, enjoyable and rewarding education, which in turn will give them the best possible start in life. In addition to this, I possess strong knowledge of a number of key teaching methodologies and am an expert at managing unruly behaviour in a positive way.

Since graduating from the University of North England, I have been working for the Central Local School in a role very similar to the one that you are trying to fill. At work I provide support to pupils, teachers and the wider school, and work hard to ensure that each school day is both interesting and rewarding for the children I help teach.

Right now I would like to join a school that has a team of like-minded individuals and where there are many opportunities for my continued professional development. Greater details of my accomplishments and achievements can be found in the attached resume. I would like an opportunity to discuss my skills and abilities in more detail with you and am available for an interview at your earliest convenience.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review my application.

Yours sincerely,
