Dear Ms Graham,
It is my pleasure to be contacting you regarding the Hotel Receptionist position that you advertised on Dayjob.com. I am already very familiar with all the duties and responsibilities of the post, and am confident that I can exceed your expectations in every aspect of this role.
As my attached resume reflects, I am a superb communicator who is comfortable with being the first point of contact with hotel guests. I have no problem striking up conversations with complete strangers who come to the front desk. Furthermore, being fluent in five languages, including Spanish and French, allows me to easily communicate with visitors from all over the world.
I am a highly qualified professional who can bring a unique set of skills to your position. Amongst my particular strengths is my ability to handle multiple phone and face to face queries simultaneously. These skills combined with a strong sense of professional integrity have contributed significantly to my successes to date.
At the moment I am employed by Western Hotels as a Front Desk Hotel Receptionist. My duties include booking guests in and out, taking telephone reservations, organising shuttle transport for guests and recommending shops, restaurants and places for tourists to visit. My employers are very satisfied with my performance and I am confident that I can bring the same high standards to your operations.
I would welcome an opportunity to meet with you in person to discuss you requirements and how I can meet them.
