Dear Ms Graham,
This letter is to express my interest in your vacant position for a Nurse Practitioner, which I saw advertised today on the Dayjob.com website.
I am able to work collaboratively within any multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of those I am tasked with looking after. I will always contribute to the delivery of your organisations objectives and can be relied upon to develop add to the brand and image of your practise.
At the moment I work for The Northern Hospital as a Junior Nurse. At my current place of employment I work alongside GPs, nursing staff and non-clinical support teams to help keep a busy medical ward operating at maximum efficiency. I am keen to advance my career and see your opening as a natural opportunity to progress onto something bigger and better that what I have at the moment.
Everything about your position appeals to me, from the location, salary and role, right through to the people I will get to work with and the type of patients I can expect to see. It’s as if your vacancy has been designed with me in mind and built around my desires and needs.
I possess all of those competencies that you seek in a candidate. I am especially keen to point out that I have a successful track record of working autonomously within a health care team to deal with peoples physical, psychological and social problems.
On a personal side I am someone who is not afraid to make clinical decisions or stand up to authority when I see that something is not quite right.
Right now I am keen to work for a healthcare provider that works hard to create an environment that supports professional practice and employee engagement.
After reviewing my attached resume, please feel free to contact me to arrange an interview or if you require any further information from me.
Thank you very much for your time and hopefully forthcoming response.
