Responsible for reviewing new applications as well as renewal applications to evaluate difficult and complex lines of business.


  • Developing client and prospect presentations to secure new business, and build on existing relationships.
  • Contacting customers by telephone on receipt of web generated enquiries or leads.
  • Performing simple fact finds, customer quotes and arranging policies over the phone.
  • Liaising with senior brokers and executing all the normal duties of an associate.
  • Looking after the operational, legal and administrative aspects of the broker team.
  • Attending buyer-seller meetings, preparing and circulating contract or deal documents.
  • Building agent relationships, finding sources of business, and being creative in product opportunities.
  • Supervising the execution of the company’s underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and contract terms.
  • Maximising the revenue for enquiries through a simple non-advised sales process whilst delivering fantastic customer service at all times.
  • Ensuring quotes, binders, and policies are issued promptly and accurately.
  • Preparing initial market submissions (including loss summaries) to be finalized by senior brokers.
  • Using analytical techniques to design and compare risk transfer.
  • Financing plans as required according to product line and client needs.
  • Defining and monitoring successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior management.
