Dear Ms Graham,
This letter is to express my interest in your vacant position for a Baker, which was recently advertised on the Dayjob.com website.
I am as warm as the bread I bake, and consider myself an expert at baking fresh bread from the oven every hour throughout the day. I have a long track record of creating simple but great tasting food that is a real attraction to customers, and feel I would be an ideal candidate for your position.
During my career I have gained experience of working in high volume kitchens and of preparing, baking and finishing; bread, breakfast bakeries, biscuits and other specified baked goods. I have also learnt how to prepare cakes, pastries, sandwiches and savoury items.
With my present employer, where I have worked for the last five years, I am not only responsible for the slicing and packing of baked goods, but also in charge of keeping the shop floor and back areas clean and tidy at all times.
On a personal level I believe in treating others with respect. This philosophy of mine is at the heart of everything that I do and is what makes me different from many others.
Right now I am keen to work for a bakery that has its own personality and atmosphere. I want to be involved in a business where hard work and dedication will be rewarded. I know I can be a great asset to your company and look forward to discussing with you in person how I can contribute to your continued success.
Please feel free to contact me to arrange an interview at your convenience.
Yours sincerely,
