Dear Ms Graham,
Whilst browsing the job adverts on the Dayjob.com website, I came across your vacancy for a Bank Cashier, and became very excited after reading the job description, as I immediately saw that your requirements precisely fitted my competencies.
As an outstanding individual who is ready to take on your exciting and vitally important role, you can rely on me to work with any money transactions to a very high degree of accuracy.
For the last one year I has been working for the Central Bank in a role very similar to the one you are trying to fill. I am responsible for being the initial contact to the banks valued customers, meeting their needs and cross selling the banks financial services to them. In addition to this I am in charge of processing over the counter transactions, maintaining an approved level of cash in the tills at all times and carrying out general administrative duties.
I am very good at being able to greet people with a welcoming smile, proactively solicit new business and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Furthermore, I am renowned for following established regulatory procedures and building strong relationships with regular customers. One of my key strengths is my ability to learn the philosophy, culture and products of my employer well enough to be able to communicate them clearly to customers.
Right now I am keen to join a company like yours that is willing to give people the chance to move on up if they’re ready for the challenge.
I would like to end by mentioning that I have attached my most current resume with this letter for your consideration, and by saying that I sincerely hope you will look favourably upon my application and invite me to an interview.
Thank you very much for your time.
