Dear Ms Graham,
Opportunities don’t come much better than the Butcher’s role that you just advertised on the Dayjob.com website. What’s even better for me, is that as soon as I read your vacancies job description I instantly saw that it was a perfect match for my competencies.
I am confident with all of my butchery skills, have extensive knowledge of the meat trade and can promote sales within a store.
As someone who is constantly focused on making a store different and better that all the others, I can be relied upon to do everything in my power to make your business a success. One of my strongest points is the way I let people know where their meat came from, and how to cook, serve and enjoy it when they get home. I offer my customers more than just the basics.
With my current employer I work as part of a 7 day operation and am required to do early and late shifts.
Further details of my accomplishments and achievements can be found in the CV that came attached with this letter. As my attached CV points out, I have experience of manually handling large amounts of meat, cleaning equipment and streamlining butchery processes to make them more efficient.
Right now I am looking for a store based vacancy with a company that is committed to equal opportunities and which welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
I hope that you will find this cover letter in combination with the attached CV enticing enough to invite me to an interview.
