Dear Ms Graham,

With over three years experience of work as a Child Care Assistant, I feel I would be a perfect match for your recently advertised vacancy.

Chief amongst my competencies that will appeal to you, is my ability to leave my young pupils personally, and academically prepared to impact their world. I am an expert at maintaining an orderly learning environment, assessing a child’s progress and meeting each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs.

As a true professional I can intervene with children’s behaviours in a non-punitive and supportive manner. Aside from this I have extensive previous experience of working in a licensed childcare facility and furthermore am someone who is willing to come to work at short notice.

In my current role I provide support to a lead teacher, and work hard to create a caring and safe environment for all. My duties include; work assignments, clerical duties, behaviour management, creating play environments and classroom preparation and setup.

Aside from my teaching competencies, I am a warm, loving and kind individual with lots of patience, who is physically fit and able to walk, run, crouch and change positions frequently. I also have a current driving license and possess my own reliable transport.

Please find further proof of my competencies in the attached CV. I invite you to read it and then contact me to arrange an interview if you feel I have potential.

Yours sincerely,
