I understand that education will play an important part in shaping a young person’s career and fulfilling their ambitions. Because of this I work extra had to equip graduates with a relevant career-focused and real world skills that can to lead to meaningful employment. Everything I do in my academic life is geared towards meeting the diverse needs of my students, the economy and society at large. I possess the expertise and drive needed to ensure students leave the College with the skills necessary to make their mark in their chosen industry or progress to the next level in their education.
My current role has a wide remit, but the overall focus is on offering vocational programmes in specialist fields at a wide range of levels, from apprenticeships to postgraduate degrees. I monitor student attendance and academic progress, intervening as appropriate. In addition to this I also act as a liaison between the students and the respective course coordinators.
To me college life doesn’t just mean achieving a new qualification, it’s about having a fulfilling experience that can set you up for life. As a superb communicator I am very good at helping people achieve this and also at counseling those facing academic challenges, or personal obstacles.
On a personal side I promote a positive atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation both within the college and the community. For me it would be an honour to be a part of and contribute to a company like yours where the hiring salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience.
