I am able to provide physical and emotional support and health care of the highest standard, whilst at the same time ensuring that a service users respect, dignity and confidentiality is maintained.
For the last three years I have been employed as a Personal Care Worker with ………………. I work on a flexible basis covering various shifts helping children and adults who have learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour and mental health issues. I assist with all aspects of their personal care as directed by senior staff. I am also involved in visiting service users at their home to encourage and assist them to be as independent as possible.
I would also like to mention that I am willing to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and occasional sleep-ins. Furthermore, I possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to engage with both organisations and individuals at all levels.
