Dear Ms Graham,
My name is Maxine Curry and I am interested in your current vacancy for a Counsellor.
I have the ability to work cooperatively within a professional team environment, and have experience of managing varied caseloads and a track record of making a positive difference to the lives of my clients.
For the last two years I have been working for the Southern Hospital Trust, in a role that is very similar to the one that you are trying to fill. During the course of my work, I am responsible for assessing and treating clients across a full range of care settings, including outpatient, community and primary care environments.
I am committed to developing healthcare services in ways that best suit the needs of my clients and am a true professional who can be relied upon to consistently meet my commitments. In addition to this, I also have experience of working with young and old people from disadvantaged as well as ethnically diverse backgrounds. On a personal level I am someone who not only stays organized and on top of their work at all times, but who is also not afraid to rolls up their sleeves to get a job done.
Your organisation has a reputation for providing the best counselling for its patients and the best working environment for its employees. Both of these factors combined are a major draw for me.
My aim right now is to arrange an interview with you at your convenience, where we will be able to discuss my application in more detail.
I would like to thank you in advance for your time, consideration and forthcoming response.
