Dear Ms Graham,
From a recent advert on the Dayjob.com website, I understand that your company is going through a period of rapid expansion and is now seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager.
I enjoy deputising and know I’m good at it.
As someone who appears to match your precise requirements I would like to put myself forward for your position. I am very confident in my ability to make an immediate and positive impact on your operations. To the extent that if you were to invite me for an interview I would explain to you in precise detail how I would increase your bottom line.
You will find me to be someone who can solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance. In addition to this, I never come up with a quick fixes to problems, but instead take a long term view of things and plan accordingly. If given an opportunity you will see that I do not buckle under pressure, and am not afraid to make important decisions.
I consider myself to be a real people’s person, and find it very easy to win the trust and support of those with whom I work. This is one of my strongest points and is something that I have been commended on in the past. In my opinion getting along with co-workers if vital to working successfully as a team.
In my current role I work under the direction of the manager and deputise for them as and when required. I have good relationships with my colleagues and get along with my boss.
I am keen to work for a forward thinking company like yours that understands the importance of rewarding people who get results.
I sincerely hope you will be in touch with me within the next few days as regards an interview and I would like to remind you that I can be contacted directly either on my mobile…………… or by email on …………………………
