I am a capable individual who is well-versed with local and national traffic rules and regulations. I have the ability to drive clients and products around in a safe, efficient, comfortable and timely manner through the use of the latest navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes. Additionally, I can work alone for long periods of time in a monotonous role like this where there are longer than average hours.
I have the ability to not only operate a range of vehicles, from small delivery vans to large trucks, but also ensure they are well maintained and safe to drive. What I feel really makes me unique is my ability to deliver up to 100 parcels a day.
With my current employer I am responsible for collecting stock from a collection point and ensuring that all customer orders are completed on time. I also oversee a variety of administrative duties, such as completing forms as well as maintaining a log of all deliveries and related information for reference and confirmation. Through my career I have learnt how to ensure that clients get the best possible impression of my employer. This is something I do by representing the company positively and professionally in all my interactions with customers and the general public. I have also become an expert at tactfully handling customer queries and building a good relationship with co-workers.
On a personal level I possess the superb communication skills needed to interact with clients, third parties and managers in a friendly and professional manner. I find it easy to interact with other staff members and management, as well as answer clients’ questions about service and delivery.
