I would like to propose my candidacy for your position of Farm Worker which I saw advertised yesterday on the Dayjob.com website.
I have an in-depth understanding of agriculture, animals and farming practices.
Firstly, my background in crop establishment, growth and harvesting makes me an ideal applicant. Secondly, if that were not enough to entice you, I have extensive experience of working on various types of farms around the country. Last but not least, I enjoy working with my hands in the open air, around livestock.
From reading the job advert I fully understand your need and desire to want to employ someone who has technical knowledge of using farm machinery and an awareness of health and safety. This is me down to a tee. I will ensure your farm is run to the highest standards at all times and that regular inspections are completed to maintain total compliance with all regulations.
In my current role I use the latest farming machinery, cropping practices and animal care techniques to help ensure the farm is profitable. During my long career I have worked on both large and small scale Agriculture and Livestock farms. I have been employed on estates where there have just been a few people as well ones where there have been over 100 seasonal workers.
On a personal level I considers myself a jack of all trades who loves learning new skills.
At this stage of my career, I want to work for landowner who apart from a decent salary will also provide me with accommodation which is either free or very cheap.
