Dear Ms Graham,
Whilst browsing the Dayjob.com website I saw your vacancy for a Financial Advisor, and after reading the job description I quickly realised the similarity between your needs and my abilities.
I am a competent, experienced and fully qualified Independent Financial Advisor who has broad knowledge of the financial services marketplace. I have the ability to work with minimal supervision and possess effective organisational and time management skills. Furthermore, I always operate within the framework of the law, and go out of my way to ensure that all necessary documentation relating to the advisory process is of a high standard and error free.
As a high calibre professional I have extensive experience of giving my clients advice on issues such as; retirement savings, investment schemes, tax incentives, pensions and loans.
I am currently self employed and so personally responsible for generating my own new business in line with targets that I set for myself. This last sentence should tell you everything you need to know about my self motivation and will power. At work I meet people from all walks of life and have no problem using my excellent communication skills to explain things clearly and give advice on all financial matters.
Right now I would like to work for a company like yours that has a reputation for offering its staff continuous training and personnel development.
I enclose a copy of my CV and hope you will look favourably upon my application. Thank you very much for taking the time to review my application.
