Responsible for all of the company’s fleet, plant and mobile heavy equipment across a number of contracts.


  • Checking all rental agreements for accuracy.
  • Filling in driver time sheets and other documentation like fuel card receipts.
  • Undertaking regular spot safety inspections of all vehicles to check for wear, damage or maladjustment.
  • Negotiating and managing relationships with suppliers of vehicles, cranes, fuel and tyres.
  • Ensuring that all vehicles are fully checked prior to going out on hire, and that they are safe to drive.
  • Initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the day to day operation of the lease vehicle fleet department.
  • Advising clients on vehicle selection.
  • Ensuring that service records are kept in accordance with company policy and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Processing all invoice queries as well as speeding and parking fines.
  • Making sure that all equipment is maintained and service records are kept up to date.
  • Ensuring the effective and timely maintenance, servicing and repair of all fleet vehicles, in order to minimise down time.
  • Managing the inventory of vehicle spares parts.
  • Ensuring that all Company vehicle drivers understand their responsibilities.

  • Dealing with all admin related issued to fleet management.
