Dear Ms Graham,
From reading the job advert on the Dayjob.com website I understand that you are looking for a capable Legal Secretary like me to become part of your winning team.
I come to you from a law background, both at degree level and work experience level. In addition to this I have previously worked in high end, high profile roles where I had lots of responsibility and regularly talked to very senior people in the legal sector.
Aside from the above, I am very familiar with preparing legal correspondence, inputting data into databases and creating new case files as necessary. In addition to this I am proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, especially Microsoft Excel and Word. As a true professional I am eager to contribute my abilities and experience to your company and would like to point out that my core skills include, but are not limited to;
- Handling confidential information in line with a firms data security protocols.
- Meeting and interacting with clients regarding legal matters.
- Having a fast and accurate typing speed of 70 wpm.
Right now I am looking for a busy legal secretary role that will provide me with a breadth of experience in all those fields that I am interested in. I have heard many good reports about your company and I would like to be part of your team. To help you make a decision on my application I have attached my most recent CV with this letter, and very much hope you will look favourable upon my application.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to read my application.
