Dear Ms Graham,
Your newly created position for a ………………….., which I saw today on the Dayjob.com website, would suit a driven professional like me who has a passion for learning, a flexible schedule, and a love for the make-up industry.
I am a relentless perfectionist who is keen to work with a team who have different skill sets to mine.
At the moment I work for Southern Beauty in a job very similar to the one you are currently advertising for. My primary role is to ensure that my clients, no matter who they are, have the make-up and hairstyles that they need to make them look the part before they appear in front of an audience. Through my present job, career and training I have learnt how to do all of the following duties that your role requires of a candidate;
- Completely change a person’s appearance through the professional use of make-up.
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in everything that I do.
- Work in collaboration with stylists, costume designers and other professionals to get the desired look.
I possess the high energy, commitment and drive needed to get things done on time and to the highest standards. I take pride in everything that I do and give more than 100 percent to every task I perform. As a true professional I always learn from my own mistakes and those of others.
Right now I am keen to join a beauty salon where all the staff pull together in the same direction. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest opportunity to arrange an interview.
