I have the ability to support adults with a wide range of psychiatric disorders. I do this by providing them with an effective and evidence based treatment to their illnesses, and by listening with empathy to what they have to say.

One of my key strengths, which is very relevant to your position, is my capacity to establish therapeutic relationships with patients. This competency combined with my experience of treating adults who have serious emotional disturbances, makes me a perfect match for your position.

At the moment I work for Western Healthcare Services as a Mental Health Counsellor. My primary job is to implement my clinical care responsibilities in accordance with my department’s policies, procedures and standards. Through my daily work I have learnt how to do all of the following key duties that your role requires of a candidate;

  • Coordinate care with external psychiatric healthcare providers.
  • Treat mental and physical conditions concurrently.
  • Assist patients through the admission process.
