Dear Ms Graham,

I have always wanted to work for your company as a Motorcycle Technician and was delighted to see your recent advert on the Dayjob.com website.

I possess strong problem solving skills and a good grasp of the theoretical, practical and safety aspects of motorcycle systems.

I come to you with a wealth of in-house experience and the ability to take on any bike for service, repair or restoration. Additionally, On the physical and practical side of things, I have the;

  • Manual dexterity needed to hold or move items with my hands.
  • Hearing sensitivity to tell the difference between sounds.
  • Vision to see details up close.
  • Finger dexterity to put together small parts with my fingers.

In my current role, I have a reputation for accurately investigating symptoms of motorcycle faults and identifying the underlying causes prior to repair. I have become an expert at observing motorcycles in operation to detect potential problems.

Aside from my technical competencies, I am a sociable person who can work cohesively with my team colleagues to ensure quality workmanship.

At this stage of my career, I would like to work for a company like yours that offers bonus schemes along with holiday pay.

Finally, I would like to say that I have attached my CV with this letter and would be very grateful if you could review it and then come back to me if you feel I may be a suitable candidate. I look forward to hearing from you in due course regarding the progress of my application.

Yours sincerely,
