Having seen your recent advert on the Dayjob.com website, I would like to apply for your vacant Office Assistant position. As an experienced and capable individual, I am confident that if you hire me I will make an immediate and positive impact on your operations.
I have extensive experience of carrying out all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office. In addition to this I have a resilient personality that helps me to work in a pressurised and deadline driven environment. Furthermore, I have a good telephone manner, am computer literate and possess a positive attitude towards getting things done.
For the last two years I have been employed by Mathews Logistics as an Office Assistant. My duties include greeting visitors to the office, answer incoming phone calls, handling the post, write letters and maintaining administrative files. I go out of my way to get involved in office affairs and actively contribute to team discussions.
Enclosed, I have attached a copy of my current resume, which will give you more details of my skills and qualifications. If after reviewing it you feel that I have the potential that you are seeking, then please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange an interview.
