Dear Ms Graham,
I am a highly organised and proactive manager who can lead a team in any busy banqueting environment. I am contacting you because I saw your advert on the Dayjob.com website for a Restaurant Manager and believe that I have the potential to meet your requirements.
I have a track record of ensuring that consistently high standards are delivered throughout a restaurant or bar area. Furthermore, I am an expert at maximising revenue, minimising costs and ensuring that guests have a first class dinning experience.
With my proven ability to come up with new ideas that drive customers to the restaurant, I feel I would make an immediate impact on your bottom line. As you can see from the attached CV, I have a history of creating a wide variety of flavours and textures that regularly have guests coming back for more. What my CV it may not show though is my genuine passion for good food and wine, something that allows me to really understanding what the paying public wants from a restaurant.
Aside from my managerial competencies, I have a warm personality that allows me to quickly engage with guests and staff members alike. I am someone who constantly challenges and drives myself forward towards success.
Right now I am looking for a unique opportunity where I will have the chance to be part of a good team and where there is an environment that will enable me to develop my knowledge and competencies further. I have excellent references and would be delighted to discuss your vacancy with you at a time and place of your convenience.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review my application.
