Dear Ms Graham,
I am writing to express my keen interest in your recently advertised 3D Artist vacancy, which was advertised today on the Dayjob.com website. An opportunity like this doesn’t come up often and for me this is a chance to join a reputable company that is really going places.
I am a master of detail, colour, lighting and composition. I have a long track record of creating striking and powerful animation that immediately grabs attention.
As my attached CV and references will indicate I have extensive previous games industry experience, superb 2D art skills and a sound knowledge of animation. I have all of the skills needed to do your job well and in particular I want to highlight my skill at finding errors and then fixing them. I am always on the lookout for those small things that will set my work apart from the rest. My specialities include;
- Setting cameras & lighting for architectural animations & visualisations.
- Creating immersive, living, and fully-realized environments.
In my present role I work closely with a team of 2d/3d artists, UI/UX designers and programmers to deliver high quality work within deadline and to the clients brief.
As a true professional I am deeply passionate about what I do and am constantly pushing myself to produce the best possible imagery. I have a strong desire to be the best in my field and possess a wealth of qualifications across all levels.
Right now I am keen to join a cutting edge visual house like yours that wants to recruit ambitious 3D Artists who have a proven track record. To help you make a decision on my application I have attached my most recent CV with this letter.
Should you find interest in my application, then I will be available for an interview at your convenience.
