Dear Ms Graham,
Your recently advertised role for an Administrative Assistant is attractive to someone like me who has good all-round administrative skills and a long career interest in Office based work. Right now I am looking for and ready to join a company like yours that wants to recruit an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in their office. I feel your role is a perfect match for my abilities and am eagerly applying for the position.
Since May 2012 I have worked as an Administrative Assistant for Johnson Fabrics. At its most basic, I assist in the company’s smooth running by providing efficient administrative support to senior managers. I do this by efficiently carrying out general admin duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, phoning, distributing mail and emailing.
I am someone who has a willingness to listen to others and learn.
I already have extensive experience within a similar role to the one you are advertising, and would like to point out that I can work well in a small team and also on my own. On a personal level I am friendly, confident and always of a smart professional appearance. In addition to this I am a fast learner who is will be able to quickly pick up how every administrative aspect of your business operates.
If after reading this letter and the attached CV, you find me to be a suitable person for your position then please do not hesitate to contact me by phone, letter or email to arrange an interview.
I thank you for your time and expectantly wait to hear a positive response from you.
