  • Experience of archiving books, papers, maps, plans, photographs, prints, films and computer-generated records.
  • Creating catalogues from scratch.
  • High attention to detail and ability to solve problems when they arise.
  • Writing reports, papers and other articles for publication.
  • Superb critical thinking skills and using reason to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Recording conclusions in detailed notes and drawings.
  • Experience of working with metadata and other forms of structured data.
