Dear Ms Graham,
From your job advert on the Dayjob.com website, I believe you are seeking an exceptional candidate for your vacant Assistant Project Manager position. As someone who is able to give a project greater value, faster delivery, lower costs and improved operational efficiency, I firmly believe that I will be the most qualified applicant for your position.
After reading the job description I was struck by how much your requirements match my abilities. I am someone who has a strong understanding of contractual procedures and in-depth knowledge of budgetary control and office management.
During my career I have delivered a variety of cross cutting projects and worked across a wide range of sectors. My experiences to date have taught me how to assess projects for their environmental impact and have helped me to become an expert at preparing bids and tenders for new business.
With my present employers (Eastern Construction), I am intimately involved in the preparation of detailed designs, feasibility studies and scheme reports. I am also charged with carrying out surveys, inspections and safety tours.
As a sociable person I have superb people management and leadership skill.
Right now I would like to work for a company that boasts an impressive portfolio of projects under its belt in the fields of healthcare, education and hospitality. If acceptable, I will contact you next week to confirm your receipt of my application, however please free to contact me if you require clarification or any further information.
Thank you very much for accepting, reviewing and hopefully responding to my application.
