What really sets me apart from other contenders for this job is my ability to help prisoners re-establish themselves in the community, by connecting them with family, community groups and agencies. This combined with a deep understanding of how to assist in their rehabilitation, makes me a perfect fit for your vacancy. At the moment I am employed by ……………… where I have a reputation for looking after the physical and mental wellbeing of those in jail. I am even charged with dispensing prescribed medication to them as directed. Additionally, as part of my duties, I serve as a positive role model for prisoner and detainee populations.
After over 2 years in this field I have developed a calm and flexible approach to sensitive, confrontational, and violent situations.
On a personal level I am a superb communicator who can connect quickly with others, even if they are distressed or angry. I am also very perceptive at picking up on social cues and inmate mannerisms.
