Maxine will own and manage all aspects of the Pensions Administrator role. She is an internal subject matter expert who can work closely with any busy Payroll and HR teams to ensure employees Pension payments are processed correctly and on time. As a true professional she will always adhere to best practice procedures in all aspects of pensions administration related tasks. Responsible for working with clients on a day to day basis, assisting and supporting them with highly confidential and potentially complex queries regarding their pension administration.


  • Providing pensions support to our Payroll employees.
  • Dealing with paperwork for new joiners, leavers and retirees.
  • Processing quotations and claims.
  • Updating of the pensions administration databases.
  • Checking and mentoring more junior members of staff.
  • Setting up new members on the pension scheme.
  • Dealing with a wide range of routine and non-routine documentation.
  • Answering the helpline and carrying out general office/clerical duties.
  • Maintaining membership records on the administration system.
  • Assisting in non-client related work such as technical committees, training and events.
  • Transferring benefits to another pension provider if a customer changes employer.
  • Calculating the amount of money people will receive.

  • Keeping up to date with pension and tax laws.
  • Working directly and building strong relationships with account managers at pension providers.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage work to achieve client deadlines.
  • Proven planning and organisational skills, including experience of delivering to demanding timescales.
  • Can quickly develop knowledge of clients’ pension schemes.
  • Ability to work on own as well as a member of a team.
  • Working within laid down processes and procedures.

  • Monitor own workflow to ensure service levels are achieved.
