Dear Ms Graham,
From a classified advert on the Dayjob.com website I see that your company has an exciting new opening for a Quality Control Inspector.
As someone who is only happy when my employer is happy, I feel I have the exact sort of attitude that you are looking for in a candidate. Furthermore I am driven by excellence and seek a different way of thinking in everything that I do.
I have the ability to implement a continuous improvement plan throughout a company’s operations by supervising, motivating and deploying a team of staff.
I’ve been with my present employer for the last three years. With them I am responsible for Inspecting parts and documenting inspection results in accordance with company procedures. In addition to this I am also involved in deploying resource to meet workloads, operating standard mechanical measuring equipment and bringing defects to the attention of senior managers. Through my time with the company I have learnt a lot about maximising productivity and cost effectiveness whilst safeguarding quality.
Listed below are just some of my wide range of transferable skills that are directly related to your position;
- Developing appropriate QA recording and reporting systems.
- Performing raw material and mechanical part inspections.
- Using specialist Quality Assurance software to store, retrieve and analyse data.
What I would really like now is to join a company that uses smart people and smart technology to deliver their vision.
I hope that after reviewing my attached resume you will be convinced of my potential and invite me for an interview to discuss my application in further detail.
