  • Conducting inspection activities against drawings and specification to verify compliance.
  • Reading blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the precise requirements of products and services.
  • Disassembling product parts to inspect them individually.
  • Writing up detailed reports on the results of testing and other observations about the products.
  • Carrying out detailed inspections of all production areas responsible for.
  • Acting as deputy to the Quality Manager when necessary.
  • Responsible for first off, roaming, and final inspection.
  • Approving finished products by confirming specifications and carrying out visual, technical and measurement tests.
  • Attending pre-inspection planning and progress meetings.

  • Experience in using the latest testing equipment, inspection equipment and measuring equipment.
  • Able to inspect components to tight limits in a precision environment.
  • Good IT skills and able to interpret engineering drawings using specialist software.
  • Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems.
  • Great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.
  • Can meet targets in a pressurised workplace setting.
